Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is the perfect place for pop music lovers. Our vibrant halls regularly host fantastic pop concerts, from well-known icons to promising newcomers. Our halls can be transformed into different settings: at a seaated/standing concert, you can either dance close to the stage or pick a seat a bit further up the hall to enjoy the concert sitting down.

  • Fish

    Farewell Tour of former Marillion singer

    Scottish artist Derek William Dick, better known as Fish, gained fame as the lead singer of the British progressive rock band Marillion. During his Farewell Tour, he bids farewell to his fans after four decades filled with hits, memories, and performances. In 1990, he made his solo debut with the album 'Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors,' and the track 'A Gentleman’s Excuse Me' even earned him a Top 40 hit. Accompanied by talented musicians, old friends, and co-writers, he is coming for a final concert to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The setlist for each concert during his farewell tour will be different, and, of course, it will include songs from his time with Marillion!

  • Harlem Gospel Choir

    Tribute to Aretha Franklin

    The world-renowned Harlem Gospel Choir is known for their powerful singing style, beautiful sound, and infectious energy. For almost four decades, they have been America's premier gospel choir, traveling the world to diverse audiences with the inspiring power of black gospel music. Following successful tribute shows honoring Nina Simone and Whitney Houston, they now pay homage to the iconic soul singer Aretha Franklin. Enjoy tonight Aretha's greatest hits, such as "Respect," "Think," and "Natural Woman."

The Dutch band Stones Sessions will take you on a journey through the famous stories and turbulent events in the lives of the Stones during this period. It was a time when they created masterpieces such as the hits "Sympathy For The Devil," "Gimme Shelter," and "Brown Sugar." Immerse yourself in the creativity, passion, and rock 'n' roll that defined this Golden Era. There is no band in the Netherlands that captures the authentic music of The Rolling Stones quite like Stones Sessions.

  • Jaap Reesema

    Sensitive Dutch pop

    After a year of sold-out shows and performances at all major festivals, Jaap Reesema is coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven for the first time! In 2010, we got to know Jaap when he won the third season of X Factor. What followed was a successful career in both the Netherlands and Belgium. With hits like "Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten," "Alles Komt Goed," and "Mijn Kleine Presidentje," he consistently strikes a sensitive chord. In 2022, Jaap participated in the Dutch TV programme Beste Zangers, where he delivered a beautiful rendition of Nielson's song "Grijs." Jaap ranked at position 280 in the Radio 2 Top 2000 of 2023 with this song!

  • NITS

    Dutch pop band celebrates 50 years

    NITS, one of the oldest and most dynamic pop bands in Europe, is celebrating their fiftieth anniversary with a brand-new tour. A significant part of their impressive history is based on major hits like "In The Dutch Mountains," "J.O.S. Days", "Adieu, Sweet Bahnhof," and "Nescio." But what truly makes NITS vibrant is their continual growth as artists. Each album tells its own new story, whether it's "Ting of Les Nuits" or their recent trilogy "Angst," "Knot," and "NEON." To commemorate their anniversary, the band released the album "Tree House Fire" last January. During this concert, the band will perform songs from this album and take you on a journey through their fifty years of music history.

  • MY BABY

    The Dutch/New Zealand trio MY BABY, consisting of lead vocalist Cato van Dijck, her brother Joost as drummer, and guitarist Daniel Johnston, effortlessly combines elements of blues, folk, soul, and funk with world music and trance. Their debut album 'Loves Voodoo!' was released 11 years ago and immediately broke through with hits like 'Singin' In Chains' and 'Out On Gin.' The album was even nominated for an Edison! In their twelve-year career, they have performed at various major festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Sziget, Lowlands, and Pinkpop, and this November, they will be appearing for the first time at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

    Lotte Pen represents a new generation of classical musicians. The saxophonist has been heard in concert halls from Tokyo to New York until she decided to radically change course. Nowadays, she writes her own music, drawing influences from pop, neoclassical, and film music. On Spotify, her music attracts tens of thousands of listeners worldwide each month. Lotte has won several awards as a performing saxophonist and was selected as the best producer from East Netherlands. Her music is also regularly featured on national radio stations. In 2020, Lotte created the Music Walk Pilgrim. "A massage for the senses," promises Lotte Pen. Especially for this walk, saxophonist Lotte Pen composed electronic, neoclassical songs that play with your imagination. In 2022, she released her debut album "PELGRIM."

  • Iris Hond

    Iris Hond has proven herself over the years as an artist of world-class caliber. She performs in major classical concert halls like the Royal Concertgebouw, but also feels equally at home in clubs and on festival stages. She's not only known for her incredible piano playing but also for her ability to captivate audiences with her personal shows. After multiple concert tours and admired performances of Ludovico Einaudi's music, Iris presents her new album this spring, "Dust Awakened By Dawn." On the new record, Iris delves into the true reflection of who she is, without embellishment or mask. This tour takes you into her inner world.

With the show "Bouke Rocks Elvis," Bouke brings the authentic Elvis magic to Eindhoven, accompanied by the ElvisMatters Band, brass players, and backing vocalists. A concert featuring both well-known and lesser-known Elvis songs, including numerous goosebump-inducing moments where, if you close your eyes, you can almost hear The King himself.

  • Karsu & Amsterdam Sinfonietta

    Karsu Dönmez, better known by her stage name Karsu, began her career with performances at her father's restaurant in Amsterdam. Since then, the Dutch-Turkish singer has transitioned to performing on major stages around the world. With her unique blend of pop, jazz, and Turkish music, Karsu has performed in over twenty countries, including three appearances at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York, at the prestigious North Sea Jazz Festival, and as the headliner of our very own jazz festival So What's Next in 2022. In 2025, Karsu returns to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and uniquely blends her music with the strings of Amsterdam Sinfonietta during this New Year's tour.

  • Barbara Pravi

    French chanteuse

    The French artist Barbara Pravi achieved an impressive second place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with her single "Voilà." The singer's music is firmly rooted in the French tradition, drawing inspiration from vocal greats like Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf. She incorporates these influences in a fresh, contemporary manner in her interpretation of chanson. Pravi lives for her audience and is known for spectacular concerts that transcend mere musical performances. In 2023, she performed a remarkable 120 shows in over 20 countries, with exclusively sold-out venues in the Netherlands. In 2025, the French singer will return to our Hertog Jan Hall!

  • Jamai: I'm Still Standing

For Jamai, Elton John has been a great source of inspiration throughout his entire life. Together with his live band, Jamai takes you on a journey through the repertoire of Elton John in this concert. From "I’m Still Standing," "Cold Heart," "Saturday," "Rocket Man" to The Lion King and back via the Yellow Brick Road. All iconic songs that have shaped the love for Elton John's repertoire.   • The Unplugged Experience

    Tribute to MTV Unplugged

    In the 1990s, MTV Unplugged celebrated its heydays. The groundbreaking TV series invited the era's biggest artists to a small venue or studio to strip down their music to a raw, acoustic version. In The Unplugged Experience, seventeen renowned musicians pay a respect to the series with music by legendary artists such as Nirvana, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz, George Michael and Sinead O'Connor. This is not your typical tribute highlighting one band, but a special overall experience that honours the intimacy of an acoustic setting. This evening you will relive the music that characterised the 90s, with music by, in addition to the aforementioned artists, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Alanis Morissette and more!

  • Nielson

    Dutch pop phenomenon

    Nielson, one of the Netherlands' most popular and successful singers, is an indispensable figure in the Dutch music scene with top 10 hits like "Beauty & De Brains", "Sexy Als Ik Dans", and "IJskoud". With four successful albums to his name, he has established himself on stages across the Netherlands, from intimate theaters to the vast Pinkpop field. And on March 15th, he and his live band will once again take to our stage. Expect an evening filled with familiar hits and sing-alongs!

  • Eloi Youssef & Kamerata Zuid

    The voice of Kensington returns to the stage

    Eloi Youssef, former lead singer of the Dutch band Kensington, is making his long-awaited return to the stage! After a long period of absence, Eloi will once again showcase his unmistakable voice, this time in an entirely new musical context. Eloi adds a new dimension to the classical performances of the Kamerata Zuid orchestra. Together, they have curated a special program with a unique combination of styles and genres. Eloi pays tribute to the artists who have inspired him over the years and performs songs he grew up with. In short, a blend of many beautiful songs that Eloi loves to sing.

Pop music is characterised by rhythmic beats, rousing vocal lines and catchy melodies. This genre appeals to a large group of people for a reason: the word "pop" is derived from the word "popular". At our pop concerts, you will enjoy the most diverse styles within this genre, from rock to folk and from singer-songwriter to Dutch folk singers.
