What could be better than experiencing music with your friends? Nothing! At least, that's what Mercan Kocuroğlu (Music from the Orient) would say. During Music with Friends, she invites artists from the region for an international and above all musical evening where friendship, connection, and meeting are central. The evening ends with an open stage where everyone can showcase their musical talent.

During the first edition of Music with Friends, Mercan welcomes the artists Başak & Bariş, Pötibör, and Rastika.

Başak & Bariş is a duo consisting of a brother and sister. Başak is known from Music from the Orient. Her brother Bariş lives in Turkey and happens to be in the Netherlands today. It's a great opportunity for them to play Turkish pop-rock songs together this evening.

Pötibör is a cover band that performs Turkish pop-rock songs. The band came to life in 2023, and since then, the members have enjoyed making music together. However, they find even greater joy in sharing their music with their audience.

Rastika is established in 2023 in Eindhoven. The band primarily focuses on playing Turkish pop music from the 90s and 80s. Besides this genre, Rastika also embraces Turkish Alaturca and international music. The band strongly believes in the universal communicative power of music, sets no limits for themselves, and enjoys playing a wide range of musical genres.

The evening concludes with an open stage where everyone can showcase their talent to the visitors of Music with Friends.
