Sound & Silence: the remedy against the hectic everyday rat race. These concerts are compelling, nourish the soul and allow you to dream. Many Sound & Silence Concerts are instrumental, so the focus is on the music so you can get carried away by the impressive sounds. Sound & Silence featues a lot of neoclassical music, which, with its hushed sounds and meditative atmosphere, fits well with Sound & Silence's philosophy.

Neoclassical sets the tone

The neoclassical genre is a beautiful blend of all kinds of elements: the elegance of classical music merges with modern aspects such as the loose approach of pop music and the rhythmic, meditative of minimal music. It is a reaction to the hustle and bustle of the modern world and brings calmness, serenity and melodies that take your emotions on an inner journey.   

Great composers like Bach, Debussy or Mozart are often an inspiration for neoclassical artists. They merge the rich traditions of classical music with modern elements, forming a beautiful bridge between the present and the past.

Lie Down Concerts 

A special feature of Sound & Silence. Having your senses triggered while lying down, it adds another dimension to your concert experience. The evening starts with a custom-made tea experience, followed by some meditation and yoga. Bring your own yoga mat, pillow or blanket and unwind while enjoying the most beautiful sounds.
