M by Muziekgebouw Eindhoven
New hall with open character
M - formerly Meneer Frits - is Muziekgebouw Eindhoven’s new hall.
With room for about 150 visitors, a relaxed atmosphere, an accessible ticket price and rich and wide-ranging programming, M will become the meeting and stay-at-home spot on the Markt in the city centre of Eindhoven.
Talent development
Our familiar Americana Mondays and Blue Note ClubSessions naturally have their home there, but M also offers a stage to regional, national and international talent. This way, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven contributes to talent development and talent retention for the city and the region.
Open meeting place
M is a place for more than just music, such as debate, study and work. From city-wide themes (think Pridewalk, Liberation Day, etc.) in the form of debate and presentation, to an intimate cultural living room for cultural associations and communities. The open character of M makes it an accessible, inspiring and vibrant place where residents of Eindhoven and the Brainport region, whatever their background and musical tastes, feel welcome.
Festive opening
Until the end of 2023, M will be dedicated to testing, tweaking and piloting. The existing programme (originally meant to take place in Meneer Frits) will continue in M. In January 2024, a festive opening will see the start of a full, varied and richly filled programme.
